PA baseball players to watch

Mike Bechtold, Garnet Valley, senior. Solid outings from the righthander and James Madison recruit are key for the Jaguars.
Edgardo Bernard, Frankford, senior. A power-hitting first baseman, he batted .489 with 28 RBIs, 22 runs, and 7 doubles.
Nick Cerelli, Haverford High, senior. The third baseman hit .393 while being named second-team all-Central League.
Noah Clement, Roman Catholic, senior. The shortstop, bound for Millersville, was first-team all-Catholic League.
Dan Hammer, Father Judge, senior. The Pittsburgh recruit is a force for the Crusaders as a hurler and shortstop.
Matt Hand, Council Rock North, senior. The Lehigh-bound shortstop and pitcher went 7-3 with a 1.55 ERA on the mound.
Danny Holdsman, Central, junior. He is a key contributor for the Lancers as a lefty pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder.
Colin Kennedy, Hatboro-Horsham, junior. The righthander and La Salle recruit went 2-2 with a 1.93 ERA. He also plays first base.
Dan Klepchick, Central Bucks South, junior. The strike-throwing righthander impressed over the summer with the Philly Bandits.
Joey Lancellotti, Archbishop Wood, senior. The North Carolina recruit is a lights-out pitcher and impact hitter for the Vikings.
Danny Long, Pennridge, senior. The smooth-fielding shortstop and pitcher will continue his career at Monmouth.
Tim Miller, Conestoga, senior. A Richmond recruit, he leads the Pioneers as a righthanded pitcher and infielder.
Mason Nadeau, North Penn, senior. The centerfielder bound for Penn State batted .356 with a .437 on-base percentage.
Riley O’Day, Bishop Shanahan, senior. The infielder and hurler was the Ches-Mont League National Division’s player of the year.
Ethan Pritchett, Neumann-Goretti, senior. The tall righthander, a Wagner recruit, went 5-2 and whiffed 49 in 39 innings.
Blake Rapoport, Wissahickon, senior. The second baseman and Lehigh recruit hit .444 with 11 extra-base hits and 13 stolen bases.
Colin Scanlon, St. Joseph’s Prep, junior. The southpaw went 7-1 with a 1.42 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 54 innings.
Collin Sheehan, Central Bucks East, junior. The catcher is expected to provide plenty of pop in the middle of the order.
Levi Stoudt, Perkiomen School, senior. The polished infielder and pitcher will join Hand and Rapoport at Lehigh.
Kyle Virbitsky, Episcopal Academy, junior. The Penn State recruit is a top-notch righthander who doubles as an infielder.
